2

Add video you want to add music to

Freemake freeware will start automatically when the installation process finishes. Click the "+Video" button to add videos to the tool. You can add music to MP4 videos, AVI, MKV, WMV, HD clips, and so on.

Please note that all the files that you add should not be protected.

Select music background

Prepare a music file you want to add to the video. In case it is in some rare format, you'd better convert to MP3 with our audio converter. If you have added several videos, you will need to add a music file to each of them. Pay attention to the signs to the right of the video. If your video is mute, you will see "No audio" title. If your video comes with background music line that you want to change, you will see the audio format and bitrate.

Click on these settings and in the drop-down menu, select the "Add audio" option. Then select an audio track from your PC.

Please keep in mind that if your audio is longer than video, it will be cut to match the video line. In case your video is longer than the audio, the end of the video will be mute. To avoid this, open the built-in Freemake editor and cut the unnecessary part of the video.

Click the format button to open the window with the settings. Select a video quality from a drop-down menu. Then select a folder for your new files.
